Watercolor basics and Beyond – Creating washes and a lake reflection

Beginners to Intermediate.

This class will cover Washes, soft and attitude Clouds, Water reflections and Landscape. Photographs will be supplied to paid registered students.

Color wheel will be addressed as well as greens. Multiple greens will be made and painted in layers

 Karel Armstrong, working professional artist and president of the local chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America has offered to commute to Prescott to instruct her broad knowledge of this medium. Karel has a great energy that she loves to share with her students. Learn the basics and more advanced techniques of watercolor painting. Explore the use of quality materials to render illustrations from your creativity, models and/or photos. Some drawing and painting experience is helpful but not required. Karel can instruct basic drawing methods if needed.

Join us on the 30th & 31st of March, 10am – 12pm, 1pm – 4pm in March. Cost is $200.00 per student for two days of instruction

Ages 16+.

**Minimum: 4 students and Maximum: 8 students
