Webstore Shipping Information:

Not all items sold from this webstore are in stock at the time of ordering. We order from our suppliers on regular intervals and most orders can be filled within 5 to 8 days. Any out-of-stock items will be notified to you in a timely fashion by the contact information given to us during the ordering process. Each order is accompanied by the tracking information to the customer. This can only be sent to you after the package is picked up by the shipper.

Please remember that weather can affect delivery times.

California Residents:

Due to the passage of the California Amended Solvent Legislation Rule #1143, effective January 1, 2011, art material retailers are not permitted to sell paint thinners and multi-purpose solvents in containers larger than 1 liter (and those under 1 liter as decided upon by the certain vendor) in the state of California. Please note that this web page includes paint thinners and multi-purpose solvents which may fall under these restrictions and are NOT available for sale to residents in the state of California. If shipping to the state of California, you will be prompted to remove restricted items from your purchase

In-stock items ship within 1 to 2 days (orders received before 1:00 pm eastern time typically ship same day)

No international shipments .

All orders (excluding New Mexico Clay) totaling up to $100.00 will ground ship for $12.00 in the United States excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

All orders (excluding New Mexico Clay) totaling 100.01 to $149.99 will ground ship for $18.00 in the United States excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

All orders (excluding New Mexico Clay) totaling $150.00 or more will regular ground ship for free unless freight shipping must be used due to the size of the items purchased (furniture, desks, etc).

New Mexico Clay shipping policy is that once the order is received, we will contact you with an estimate of shipping cost. The order will not ship until you have agreed upon the shipping costs.

Free shipping (clayless orders) offer applies to regular ground shipping only in the United States excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

All other shipping options can be offered but only after the shipping needs have been discussed with you and the shipper as well. An estimate of cost and delivery date then can be determined. Overnight shipping is always an additional charge.

Choice of shipper is determined by the Art Store by the items purchased.

In-store pick-up policy

In-store pick-up is an option for you if you would like to pick your order up from the store itself. During the ordering process if you select this option your order may take up to 48 hours (usually in 24 hours) to fulfill when the items are in-stock. You will be contacted by the information given during the ordering process when the partial and/or the entire order has been assembled and is ready for pick-up. If any out-of-stock items are not ready for pick-up you will be given estimated time of when these items will be ready to be picked-up.

Always use “in-store pick-up” when a gift certificate, demo, or workshop is being purchased. These items require no shipping costs so we will not charge you for this if noted this way.

Webstore Product Return Policy

You may return a product for refund, store credit, or exchange (if due to Art Store error) within 30 days of the order shipment date. (The order shipment date and order notification are provided to you by email). All returns must be accompanied with a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA number). Please contact us by email or phone to start this process.

If we shipped you the wrong product, or it arrived defective or damaged…

We’re sorry! We will send a replacement or refund you for your purchase, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc., where applicable.

If you ordered the wrong item, wrong size, or simply changed your mind…

We will refund you for your purchase (minus the shipping cost), provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc., where applicable, provided your purchase is in “as-new” condition, and the purchased product was not noted as a clearance, close-out or non-returnable item.

When your return is received, you will be issued a refund to your credit card for the merchandise only. Some products may also be assessed a 15% restocking fee – please ask if you are unsure. Additional restrictions may apply, please contact us for more information.

In-store Return Policy:

We will refund you for your purchase, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc., where applicable, provided your purchase is in “as-new” condition, and the purchased product was not noted as a clearance, close-out or non-returnable item. Most liquid art materials are temperature sensitive. Therefore, we do not accept returns on any liquids.

There are no returns on labor-based services such as matboard/foamcore cutting, firing of ceramics, custom cuts on any material and/or any other labor-based services.
