- A 16″x20″ sheet of 1/2″ acid-free foamcore or (2) 20″x15″+ sheets of 1/4″ acid-free foamcore taped together
- 2mm Lead Holder
- HB 2mm lead
- 2mm lead Sharpener
- Peel “n” Sketch Soft Charcoal Pencil
- Latex or Nitrile Gloves
- Denatured Alcohol (small plastic container)
- A Cheap Synthetic Medium Flat Brush
- Thumbtacks
- Scrap Piece of Matboard (support board)
- Sheet of Glassine
- Mars Plastic Eraser (or any soft, white plastic eraser)
Instructor gives you the following on the first day of class:
- A sheet of sanded pastel paper
- The shared use of instructor’s plein-aire pastel set (hundreds of professional pastels in assorted colors) while in the studio
