Digital Acrylic Workshop – Where the computer meets the paint

Ever want to bring an image into your work? Wanted to print on more than paper? Golden Digital Media can answer this need.

Using the three Golden Media, Digital White Ground, Digital Clear Ground Gloss, and Digital Ground for Non-Porous Surfaces, we will explore how to print images on a number of surfaces as well as create skins for printing on. These elements can then be added to other surfaces and merged with mixed media ideas.

Too much texture? You want your prints to be almost seamless? There are many ways to collage your laser and inkjet prints into your projects. Embellish your own photos and prints with ease. Golden acrylic mediums will be demoed. We will also be demoing and trying alternative transfer methods such as Dass and Jacquard’s ExtraVorganza. These are popular digital transfer films and silk sheets.

Working from the intuitive side of our creativity, this workshop will explore Golden Acrylic Media and a host of mixed media inclusions during the acrylic collage process.

Cost is $75.00 per student for 5 hours of instruction.

Ages 16+.

**Minimum: 4 students and Maximum: 7 students
