Positions are coming open!
We are looking for creative, artistic people that may have had some retail and/or teaching experience. As the summer approaches, the store does get busier with classes and travelers to our great community.
With this in mind, we will be needing some assistance from now and into the future.
First, I would like to thank Jennifer Hamilton (our ex-painting instructor) and Micayla Matson (the helpful minion on the sales floor) for helping support me through my recovery and the store’s needs. They are leaving the store to great adventures within their own goals. You may see both still in the Prescott area, shopping at the store or at the local art shows. – Keith Kendall, owner & manager.
At the same time, Julia Kartman, our present Watercolor Instructor is taking a well-deserved break to have her first child. Which at this point she is doing very well with the carrying of. May she bring a healthy new life into this world in this springtime.
These holes in our team, give the community chances to be part of the Art Store instruction team. At this time, We will need replacement instructors for the upcoming months to teach watercolor, oil & acrylic painting and drawing. These are positions that are based on the amount of students registered to proceed for the classes. If anybody would like to teach a workshop, this is a possibility as well. If interested, please download the application in PDF format at Art Store Instructor Application – The Art Store (prescottartstore.com) and email to contact@prescottartstore.com or drop by the store.
With Micayla’s absence, we will also need a part-time team member (minion) with a flexible schedule that would like to work with our growing art community. This position is for sale of art materials and inventory management but does not limit you to not being able to instruct. If interested, you can apply online at Art Store Job Application – The Art Store (prescottartstore.com)
