Two-Hour Lecture Demo on Golden acrylic paints & more!
Description: New paints, products, techniques and paint colors are covered in this extensive and broad overview, including:
∙ Digital Mixed Media – new ways of combining photography with paint!
∙ Slow drying “Open” Acrylics – great for plein air, monoprinting or simulating oil paint
∙ Exciting new High Flow Paint (use in sprays and refillable fine line pens)
∙ Interference and other reflective paints
∙ Innovative combinations of Mediums, Gels & Pastes
∙ Pouring, textural surfaces, Archival practices
**PLUS a brief intro on Qor – Golden’s new watercolor paint line; and Williamsburg Oil Paints (now handmade by Golden)
From traditional to contemporary to mixed media, acrylics are infinitely versatile. Artists of all levels will come away from this lecture with fresh new insights. Technical tips, cool tricks! Free product samples and information packets are available to all participants, including hand-painted color charts.
Cost is $10.00 per attendee. This $10.00 fee will be placed on your Art Store account to be used in the store towards a future class, materials or other Art Store services. Ages 16+. **Maximum: 25 attendees

Nancy Reyner is a painter of more than 30 years experience who exhibits, lectures & teaches locally and nationally. Nancy holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and MFA from Columbia University. She is the author of three painting technique books published by North Light Books, and has produced several instructional DVDs. She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
