DESCRIPTION:Drawing I students many times would like more instruction from October’s class\, so we offer some spaces in the Saturday time slot shared with the sculpture students. The instructor can also teach painting. \nK&K Studios and the Art Store offers a course on the Principles of Sculpture & Mold making. Enjoy building a bust of your loved one! Or creating a voluptuous form in plasteline clay with the correct supports.  From designing in the round\, to the proper equipment and tool techniques to mold making\, your imagination is your only restriction. \nSculpture: This is a water-based clay and an oil-based clay class. Firing of your projects built in class is included in the class fee. Size and quantity of projects are limited by the present equipment. Please ask about these restrictions. \nThe sculpture studio offers (3) throwing wheels\, a slab roller and a clay extruder for your project needs. The kiln in the store also fires from low to high fire (cone 06 to cone 10). \nK & K Studio’s sculpture class is held at 1pm-4pm is usually running on the first four Saturdays. \nOpen enrollment\, all skill levels accepted. A maximum of 8 students is allowed in the studio space so one on one instruction has greater possibilities for the honing of your skills. \nRegister Today!\nAll materials are extra. A working artist of over 35 years and many of the projects K & K Studio has been involved with have become permanent collections of nationally known museums. With 30 years of molding experience\, thousands of molds for fine sculpture have been built for other working artists. Harper is an art instructor for the Otis College of Art\, The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising\, and for UCLA extension courses. Concurrently with his fine art\, Harper also works in the motion picture and television industry\, creating concepts for advertising storyboards and illustrations. Museum exhibitions include: the Phippen Museum in Prescott\, Arizona and in California at the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University\, Pasadena Museum of California Art\, the Pasadena Museum of History and a solo exhibition at the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. DESCRIPTION:Beginners to Intermediate \nK&K Studios and the Art Store offers a course on the Principles of Sculpture & Mold making. Enjoy building a bust of your loved one! Or creating a voluptuous form in plasteline clay with the correct supports.  From designing in the round\, to the proper equipment and tool techniques to mold making\, your imagination is your only restriction. \nSculpture: This is a water-based clay and an oil-based clay class. Firing of your projects built in class is included in the class fee. Size and quantity of projects are limited by the present equipment. Please ask about these restrictions. \nThe sculpture studio offers (3) throwing wheels\, a slab roller and a clay extruder for your project needs. The kiln in the store also fires from low to high fire (cone 06 to cone 10). \nK & K Studio’s sculpture class is held at 1pm-4pm is usually running on the first four Saturdays. \nOpen enrollment\, all skill levels accepted. A maximum of 8 students is allowed in the studio space so one on one instruction has greater possibilities for the honing of your skills. \nRegister Today!\nAll materials are extra. Supply list for sculpture can be found here. \nInstructor: Keith Kendall \nKeith Kendall’s Bio: K & K Studios is a father and son sculpture studio that has worked on international and national sculpture projects over their 35 years of the sculpture studio’s existence. A working artist of over 35 years and many of the projects K & K Studio has been involved with have become permanent collections of nationally known museums. With 30 years of molding experience\, thousands of molds for fine sculpture have been built for other working artists. As well as experience in firing ceramics of over 30 years will assist in allowing your visions come to fruition.
